Siempre que os he hablado de Tamarán os he dicho que está pensado para una trilogía. No he querido dar nada por hecho porque esto de las sagas es un más difícil todavía… Si ya cuesta publicar un libro, imaginaos lo que es que te publiquen tres. Por si acaso, y como ya sabéis, “El destino de Tamarán: Los reinos incógnitos” es una historia que concluye y que, de ser única, tendría sentido y cerraría, aunque fui dejando algunos hilos de los que poder tirar en caso de que continuara.
Bien, hoy os puedo decir que hice bien en hacerlo así. Si no hay cambios de última hora, Tamarán tendrá continuación (tengo un editor que es una maravilla), así que yo ya estoy inmerso en la segunda parte, aún sin un subtítulo claro, pero ya bastante avanzada. A ver lo que da de sí este verano y hasta dónde puedo llegar. No voy a pensar en fechas porque luego pasa lo que pasa, pero quiero deciros que lo he cogido con muchísimas ganas, que ya llevo más de sesenta páginas escritas y que, de momento, creo que la trama avanza como debe.

I have always said that Tamaran was a trilogy project. I didn’t want to take anything for granted because a saga is something complicated. Being published is quite hard to achieve, so imagine when they have to publish not one but three books. Just in case, as you know, “The destiny of Tamaran: The incognito kingdoms” is a story with a clear end with all the sense if it had to be the only book, although I left some rows to pull out if there would be a “to be continued”.
Well, today I can tell you that I was right when I did so. If there are no changes, Tamaran will be continued (my editor is just wonderful), so I am completely immersed in the second part, still without a title, but quite advanced. I hope the summer helps me to keep writing being relaxed. I prefer not to think of any dates, but I feel strong and I have written more than sixty pages already, so I feel like I won’t need eight more years to finish it up.
